    Spas and Estancias Itinerary


    Day 1: Arrive Buenos Aires

    Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, your English-speaking representative will be on hand to escort you to your waiting private motor coach for the transfer to the hotel. After check-in, time to freshen up and then start a special sightseeing tour of the Argentine capital.

    The tour will take in all the major sights including a behind-the-scenes visit to the Teatro Colón Opera House, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government Palace (Casa Rosada), the colourful La Boca district, the tough port barrio and picturesque working class heart of Buenos Aires, and San Telmo, home and birthplace of the sultry tango.

    Tonight's dinner will be at at La Cabañas (an Orient Express Restaurant).

    Day 2: Buenos Aires - Córdoba

    This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Córdoba. Upon arrival at Córdoba airport El Colibrí staff will be waiting to transfer you to the estancia.

    Estancia El Colibrí is located in the centre of Argentina in the province of Córdoba and is located on 170 hectares of private property bordered by the Santa Catalina River.

    Day 3: Córdoba

    This is much more than just a working Argentine “Estancia” which farms crops and raises cattle, you will also have a chance to experience the local culture.

    Day 4: Córdoba - Bariloche

    This morning depart Córdoba to fly to the city of Bariloche. On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel. This is Argentina’s “Little Switzerland,” a region with strong ties to Central Europe; many local families originally immigrated here from Germany, Switzerland and Northern Italy.

    Your hotel is located in the heart of Argentinean Patagonia, in the south of the province of Neuquen. Las Balsas is set within Nahuel Huapi National Park. Surrounded by the eternally snow capped mountains, natural forest and the deep blue Nahuel Huapi Lake, Las Balsas offers one of the most beautiful landscapes in Patagonia.

    On your arrival at the hotel you will be welcomed by the resident managers who will brief you with the daily activities.

    Day 5: Bariloche

    You will spend the next two days exploring the area.

    Day 8: Buenos Aires - Carmelo

    This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Carmelo, a small village located in Uruguay.

    Upon arrival in Carmelo, transfer to the exclusive Four Seasons Hotel & Spa. Nestled amidst pine and eucalyptus trees by the Rio de la Plata, this wonderful resort offers many activities including golf, riding and fishing along a scenic river bank.
